5:15 - Bachata Moderna
6:30 - Bachata Sensual
8pm - Social Dance
Each class is $15, or $40 for the series. The social is included with any class (or $15 for the social only).
ABOUT THE INSTRUCTORS
Megan and Dmitri have combined 23+ years of Latin dance experience in Bachata, Kizomba and Casino (Cuban Salsa). They emphasize development of strong foundational skills that allow solid connection with the partner and the music and effortless execution of even the most complex patterns. Megan and Dmitri learned Bachata dance foundations through progressive on-line courses taught by some of the world’s best instructors (Ataca y La Alemana, Korke and Judith). Every year they travel US to improve their skills at festival workshops and special events. They are also a part of Azucar Casino Dance Company.
ABOUT THE VENUE
The Evergreen Ballroom is a beautiful dance facility in Southern Oregon. Owner and founder, Bill Grimm, opened the ballroom in 1998 as a venue for ballroom dance events and instruction. As avid social dancers, Bill and his wife and partner Marilee have a goal: to promote ballroom dance in the Rogue Valley. With the help of some artistically-talented dancing friends, Bill designed and created this modern, elegant facility which features a 3000 square foot, spring-loaded maple floor, high-quality sound equipment, and climate controls for year-round dancing.
